Special Announcement: New Album!

Over three years have passed since "Tones" - some things have changed, many have stayed the same, but I feel like my playing has been growing steadily since.
It is with great pleasure and a touch of excitement that I announce the upcoming release of my second full length effort, a yet-to-be-named, solo release focussed on my progress as an interpreter. It will feature music from what I consider seminal "times" in my career, with an emphasis on the coloristic and evocative aspects of playing the guitar that so intrigue me.
I am currently scheduling the recording sessions in San Francisco, and I expect to release the finished project some time in the fall - school and other projects permitting.
I am also toying with the idea of keeping a proper recording journal this time, with musing, thoughts, pictures and maybe a couple of out-takes from the time spent in the studio. Details to follow.

YouTube uploads!

Hey gang! I just had a rather successful 1st Graduate Recital and I decided to post my efforts (good and otherwise) for all the word to see! I might try to integrate things a bit better in the future, but for now you can just go to my new YouTube Channel. Really, go nuts!
Minus one week to some much-needed home-time in Italy. It's been a terrific first year at the SFCM and I'm looking forward for my next one...but summer by the sea sounds particularly nice right now!

McIlroy Video on Youtube

This morning I got an email from Dermot McIlroy pointing out a new video showcasing his guitars on Youtube. "Kilkenny" acts as a soundtrack and, needless to say, I'm very happy about the whole deal. Have a look:
